The Roadrunner Athletics Hall of Fame will induct its Class of 2019 Class on Wednesday, November 20th, at Adelphia's Restaurant in Deptford, NJ. To be honored will be: Greg Chew, Dimitri Athans, Dr. Abiola Majekundunmi, Kristina Morgan, Bob Fredrick, Wayne Murschell, and Fred Swartz.

In addition, six teams will be recognized for their NJCAA National Championship performances:1999 and 2000 Baseball National Championship Teams; 1999 and 2000 Wrestling National Championship Team; 2010 Baseball National Championship Team; 2010 Men's Tennis National Championship Team.

Today, we look back on the 2010 NJCAA Division III Baseball National Champions: 

The 2010 Roadrunner Baseball team finished their season 43-2 overall and as the NJCAA Division III National Champions. On May 27th, the team defeated Tyler JC in extra innings to bring home the title. Logan Morello was named the MVP of the World Series and Frank Vitrano, Ronnie Tanner, and Alexi Colon were named to the All-Tournament Team. The Roadrunners had previously defeated Tyler, Herkimer, and Manchester to advance to the championship game.

The team was ranked #1 in the country for several weeks during the season and won 37 consecutive games including 22-0 in Garden State Athletic Conference play. Centerfielder Colon was named the NJCAA Division III National Player of the Year while Nick Alloway and Matt Smith were both named 2nd Team All-Americans.

The team batted .371 for the season with an astounding 56 home runs (15 by Colon). The Roadrunners collected the Garden State Athletic Conference title and NJCAA Region XIX Championships during the season on the way to the National Championship.

All in all, among the greatest single seasons by any Roadrunner team in illustrious history of our athletic program.
