No. 3 Roadrunners Are Silenced in Loss to Visiting Rowan Burlington

RCGC's baseball team fell victim to hitting woes against a solid opponent in Division II Rowan Burlington on Tuesday, dropping a 10-3 decision to the Barons.

The loss was the second in the past four games for the Roadrunners, who dropped to 16-3 overall. RCGC, No. 3 in the most recent NJCAA Division III National Rankings, topped the visiting Barons in a home game last month as the two teams finished 1-1 against each other this spring.

First baseman Anthony Angelino and designated hitter Mitchell Peers collected two hits and an RBI each. Second baseman Roylan Almonte also added one hit and one RBI.

Coach Rob Valli's Runners will host Camden County College in a home game on Thursday at 3 pm.
