Second baseman Bryan Sanders cracked a pair of HRs and collected 5 RBIs while Shawn Dougherty and Jimmy Bruno also slammed homers, lifting Roadrunner Baseball to a 19-6 win over host Union in Linden, NJ.
The win clinched the GSAC title for the Runners, who are now 35-4 overall and have a 24-2 conference mark!
Bruno finished with 4 RBIs while catcher Mitchell Balint added two RBIs. Winning pitcher Tom Kane went the distance.
The two teams are back in action Saturday when they play a doubleheader at the Roadrunner Baseball Complex in Deptford. The first pitch for Game 1 is 12 noon.
