The Roadrunner golf program will begin its second season in 2019 under head coach Jim Clarke, who will field both a men's and women's program this spring. Last season, Clarke's team competed as a co-ed club program. This campaign the Runners will compete in a full NJCAA Division III intercollegiate schedule beginning on March 20 against Stockton University at Seaview Country Club in Galloway, NJ. The full schedule is below.
On the men's side the Runners will benefit from the return of four solid starters from last season along with the addition of several talented freshmen golfers.
"I'm cautiously optimistic that we will be competitive with the men's program this spring," said Clarke, a former GCIT coach. "Our returnees have a good year behind them and know what to expect at a junior college level. I also feel we have some good players in the freshman class, so again, we're cautiously optimistic."
New this season will be the presence of a women's program. Leading the way for the team will be freshmen Paige Angelus (Delsea) and Dawn Foglein (Clayton), both of whom have considerable high school experience.
