Skidmore, Macklin Lift Roadrunners to Road Win vs. County College of Morris

Sophomore Dylan Skidmore scored what proved to be the winning goal with an assist from teammate Zache Bille to help the Roadrunner men's soccer team to a 6-1 win at County College of Morris on Saturday.

Anthony Macklin finished with a goal and two assists to help RCGC improve to 3-4 overall. 
 
The Runners' Paolo D'Alessandro opened the scoring with a first half goal assisted by Anthony Macklin to make it 1-0. Skidmore's tally made it 2-0 and then frteshman Justin Phy fired in another goal on a penalty kick to help the Runners to a 3-0 halftime lead. 
 
Morris' Abdoulaye Sangare made it 3-1 on an unassisted goal before Ryan Flaherty, Macklin (penalty kick) and Farris El-Taher erupted for three straight goals to help the Runners win easily. 
 
Goalkeeper Nikolas Anagnou posted 10 saves to record the victory in nets. 
 
Coach George Hobbins' Runners will next visit Union County at Snyder Field in Berkely Heights in a 3:30 pm start.
