Roadrunner Men's and Women's Tennis Teams Look to Continue Proud Tradition in Spring 2021

Roadrunner Men's and Women's Tennis return to competition with a home event on Saturday, March 13! The two programs own a combined seven national titles, and are looking to continue the tradition of success.

"It's great to be back on the court and practicing with my teammates," said freshman James Keenan, a former Delsea Regional standout and member of the men's program. "We are excited to start the season and see where we stand against teams around the region."

Veteran men's coach Brian Rowan, also the school's Executive Athletic Director, along with first-year women's coach Kristi Twardziak look to enjoy successful Spring 2021 campaigns.

Men's Tennis

Head Coach: Brian Rowan, 17th season, four NJCAA National Championships

Assistant Coaches: Scott Henderson, Sean Sloane

Returnees: Dylan Kelly, So,, Clearview Regional; Tatumn Merlino, So., Pitman; Ryan Weiss, Fr., Clearview Regional.

Newcomers: James Keenan, Fr., Delsea Regional; Christian Coombs, Fr., Audubon; Colin Christoff, Fr., Woodstown; Trevor Lodge, Fr., Woodstown.

Women's Tennis

Head Coach: Kristi Twardziak, First Year.

Newcomers: Madelyn Beecroft, Fr., West Deptford; Jordan Connelly, Fr., West Deptford; Heike Richardson, Fr., Clearview Regional; Peyton Schultz, Fr.; Gina Poitras, Fr. Pitman

Coach Kristi Twardziak on her Roadrunner Women's Tennis Team:  "We have some outstanding recruits who are exceptional athletes," she said. "We are really looking forward to a successful season."
