Sabb, Harris-Hood Help Roadrunner Women's Basketball Snap Two-Game Skid

Sophomore guard Naiyana Sabb deposited 24 points and dished out 5 assists while freshman Kadinah Harris-Hood chipped in with 11 points to lift the RCGC women's basketball team to a 56-29 triumph over visiting Camden County College on Tuesday evening.

The win snapped a two-game losing streak as the Roadrunners improved to 10-11 overall. Coach Rich Cooper's team held a slim halftime lead before erupting in the second half to seal the win.

"We stressed to the team that we needed to play well all four quarters," said Cooper. "When we do that, we're pretty tough to beat."

RCGC will qualify for the Region XIX tournament by winning at least one of three remainng conference games on their schedule. That stretch begins with an away game at Community College of Philadelphia on Thursday at 5 p.m.
