Roadrunners' Women's Basketball Coach Rich Cooper has a family-friendly philosophy when it comes to recruiting athletes who will fit the mold of his successful and well-established program.
"We ask all players to take inventory of their team," said Cooper, who has more than 100 career victories at RCSJ. "We are a family and we stress the value of your teammate and how important it is to set a goal and make sure everyone is moving towards achieving that goal!"
Coach Cooper's success has elevated RCSJ-Gloucester into a premier NJCAA Division III program the past several seasons. Cooper guided the Roadrunners to a Region XIX Final Four appearance last winter as well as Region crown in 2018. He is hoping his club will be in the thick of another title chase this season as well as a return trip to the NJCAA Division III National Championship Tournament, which begins in April 2021.
