Villari Nets Two Goals as Roadrunner Women's Soccer Halts Host Middlesex College

Alaina Villari and Madison Bridges fired in two goals apiece to lift the Roadrunner Women's Soccer team to their second straight win, a 4-0 triumph over host Middlesex on Saturday. The match took place at David Crabiel Park. 

Kacey Marshall picked up two assists while teammates Villari and Kayleigh Shuff had one assist each.

The Runners raced to a 2-0 halftime lead before sealing the outcome with two second-half goals for the final of 4-0.

Goalkeeper Lauren Graham made 10 saves to register the shutout, her third this season. The Runners improved to 5-4 overall with the triumph.

"This was a great and well-played game all around by our Roadrunners," said Coach Stephen Hart afterwards. 

Next up for the Runners will be a tough GSAC and Region 19 battle at nationally ranked Ocean County College Tuesday, Oct. 3, in a 4 pm start.
