Lancaster named USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week

Elisia Lancaster opened up her sophomore outdoor season and picked up right where she left off at last years National Championship. Competing at the Stockton Invitational against a strictly NCAA DII and DIII laden field. Lancaster would continue to rewrite her own record book where she dominated the Hammer field with a lifetime best and new school record of 48.97 m's (160' 8") which won the event by over 3 m's (10+ feet) and broke her own school record by over 2 m's. 

Lancaster would follow up her Hammer perfomance with two second place finishes and had the best overall performance by any athlete in the whole competition. In the Shot Put she would go 12.25 m's (40' 2 1/4") taking second behind her winning teamate Emily Hilt. In the Discus Lancaster would take second with her third best throw of her college career with a throw of 37.22 m's (122' 1") taking second behind an NCAA DII Thrower.
