The Roadrunner women's volleyball team captured their fifth straight victory and seventh win in their last eight matches thanks to a 3-0 triumph over host Brookdale Community College Tuesday evening.
Coach Rebecca Pierson's Runners swept all three matches by scores of 25-21, 25-16, and 25-18 for the key GSAC and Region XIX victory. The win lifts the RCSJ Gloucester's record to 8-5 overall and 7-2 within the region. The Jersey Blues fell to 6-3 overall and 6-3 in the region.
Next up for the Runners will be a home match versus Ocean County College on Tuesday, October 8, set to begin at 7:30 p.m.
