Roadrunner women's volleyball coach Rebecca Pierson set high expectations for her program when she was appointed head coach in 2016 .. and her players have responded to the challenge.

"I had high expectations, but they outplayed my high expectations," Coach Pierson said. "They won their conference. That's big for the girls, big for me, and even bigger for the program!"

Pierson's Roadrunners finished a superb 2019 campaign with a 13-5 overall record while sharing the Garden State Athletic Conference crown, a first in school history. They also competed for the Region XIX District 1 championship vs. Raritan Valley. And with a team loaded with many returning players, the Runners will look to continue their success in 2020-2021.
