Women's and Men's Cross Country Perform Well in Osprey Open at Stockton
The Roadrunner cross country teams launched their first 'long course' races this weekend at the Osprey Open hosted by Richard Stockton University in Pomona, NJ.  The course conditions and the weather were perfect, and this helped the teams turn in some impressive performances, with efforts improved all around from last weekend's home course opener.

For the ladies, the Roadrunners tackled the first 6k's of their collegiate career.  Leading the way again was Ashton Wiseley who placed 92nd in 29:22.  Next up was the strong finishing kick of Alyssa Connor to place 109th in 31:42.  Rounding out the flock were the duo of Paige Wodarczyk and Jamie Fratta finishing in places 123 and 124 in 35:28 and 35:39 respectively.

The men faced some challenges from injuries being rested this week, so only 2 athletes competed, both running in the first 8k's of their careers.  Leading the way for the second week in a row was Giogio Bruno, who placed 108th in 32:29.  Crossing the line second for the Roadrunners was Cade Gilbert who placed 121st in 35:29.

Next up, the RCSJ-Gloucester crew will head up to the Highlander XC Invitational hosted by NJIT in Newark, NJ.
