Vineland's George Vera Signs Letter of Intent to Play Soccer at RCGC

 

George Vera, a senior at Vineland High School, has signed a NJCAA Letter of Intent with Rowan College at Gloucester County to play soccer in the Fall 2019 semester.

 

George, a goalkeeper, collected 128 saves for the Fighting Clan during the 2018 Fall season as his team compiled a 10-10-1 overall record in the Cape-American Division under head coach Paul Myers. He finished his career with 190 saves. He was selected to the Daily Journal's All-Area Boys' Soccer Team this past season. He resides in Vineland, New Jersey with his mother Maria Bonilla. George plays club soccer with the Vineland Rovers. He will be majoring in Criminal Justice.

 

Coach George Hobbins and the RCGC staff welcome George to the program. "The coaching staff had the opportunity to watch George play a few times over the last two years and we are excited to add a player of his caliber to our program."
