RCGC Indoor Track and Field team returns to Ursinus College for the Frank Colden Invitational

The men's squad continued to improved over last weeks performances. In the 60m dash, Marquis Copeland led the way for the Roadrunners, placing 18th in 7.43.  Next were Fidel Garcia-Corporan (26th in 7.67) and Jordan Flynn (40th in 7.96).  In the 200m, Fidel impressively won his heat to finish 27th in 24.68 while Marquis placed 34th in 25.07 and Jordan was 46th in 26.21.  In the 400m, Fidel placed 37th in 56.36.  In the field, Adam Hunt and Josh Varghese both had impressive outings in the shot put event.  Adam Hunt surpassed his personal best from last week with a toss of 14.18m to take 5th while Josh threw 12.13 to place 11th in the competition.

 

On the women's side, Emilt Hilt placed 2nd in the shot put with a throw of 12.52m, only being beaten by NCAA D1 U. Del.  Elisia Lancaster wasn't too far behind, placing 5th with a toss of 11.22m.

 

Next up for the teams is the Albright Invitational.
