RCGC Women's Basketball welcomes Highland Regional High School standout Alexa Bishop, who signed a letter of intent to become a member of the Roadrunners' roster for the 2019-20 season.
Alexa, a power forward, played a total of 65 career games under Highland coach J.W. Senft and helped the team to a South Jersey playoff appearance in 2019, As a senior, Alexa averaged 7.1 points and 7.6 rebounds per game for the Lady Tartans. She had a career high 18 points in a win over Haddon Township in February.
She will join her high school teammate Zamirah Montgomery, who also recently signed a letter of intent, on the RCGC roster for 2019-20.
RCGC women's coach Rich Cooper is looking forward to Alexa's contributions in the upcoming season as the Roadrunners look to continue their tradition of excellence!
"We're happy to have a player of Alexa's caliber on our roster for next season," said coach Cooper. "Alexa is a hard worker on the court and will fit right in with her teammates. "
