Roadrunner Women's Tennis will host several of the top teams from around the country this weekend in what is being dubbed the Roadrunner Invitational. Suffolk CC (NY), Illinois Valley CC (IL), Oxford-Emory (GA), and Camden CC will all participate in the round robin competition.
On Saturday morning, play will commence with matches at RCGC and Overbrook HS starting at 10am.
The Roadrunners will take on Illinois Valley CC at home while Camden CC will face Oxford-Emory at Overbrook HS.
The highlight of the event will be Saturday night at 6pm as two dual matches will take place at the Atkinson Park complex. The lighted 8-court complex is the top complex in the county. The Roadrunners will face Oxford-Emory while Suffolk CC will face Illinois Valley.
"It's exciting to play these great teams in one weekend," said first singles Haley Kircher. "This type of competition will only make us better and prepare us for the Region XIX Tournament later in the month."
On Sunday, three dual matches will take place at RCGC starting at 10am.
