Roadrunner Volleyball took the first step last week toward respectability when they swept the competition during a tri-match at Lehigh-Carbon CC to start the season with a 2-0 record. They hope to continue this trend when they host Brookdale CC Thursday night in a 6 pm start.
The Roadrunners went the distance with host Lehigh-Carbon before collecting the win. Megan Shook took the lead for the team with a number of well-placed serves in the final set that helped pave the way to the win.
Sophomores Azhyianna Redd and Emily Tate were on the receiving end of a number of terrific sets from Shook and took advantage by swinging freely and finishing a number of key points for the Roadrunners.
