Ellise Spaulding joined the RC​GC staff in 2003 and acts as the college’s Certified Head Athletic Trainer providing care for all 16 NJCAA teams. Spaulding serves the Rowan College student-athletes providing evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries. A wide array of treatments are offered including hot/cold packs, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation, among others.

Spaulding also refers student-athletes to outside physicians on a case-by-case basis depending on the severity of the injury or illness. In addition, Spaulding works with ​the school insurance company to make certain all insurance issues are handled pro​perly.​ Roadrunner Athletics proudly works with lead physician Dr. David Gealth of the Cooper Bone & Joint Insitute.

In the spring of 2000, Spaulding received her Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in athletic training from the University of Maine-Orono. Shortly after graduating, she began her athletic training career at Brewer High School in Brewer, Maine where she worked for one year gaining experience in her field. From 2001-2002, Spaulding worked at the University of Maine-Orono as Assistant Athletic Trainer. In 2002, Spaulding moved to California, Pennsylvania and began taking graduate courses at the California University of Pennsylvania campus. In the spring of 2003, Spaulding graduated from the institution with a Master of Science in Athletic Training.

A native of Edinburg, Maine, Spaulding currently resides in Mantua, NJ.
