The RCGC Men's Basketball Team soared to the No. 5 spot in the NJCAA Division III National Rankings for the first time this winter when the rankings were released on January 29th.

The Roadrunners, who are scheduled to play at Middlesex Copunty College on Tuesday night, currently have a 20-2 overall record and lead the GSAC standings. They have captured 17 wins in succession.

RCGC previously held the No. 8 position, but head coach Will Wareham was hoping his squad would show some movement upwards following a big win over Cumberland last week.

"We've focused on our defense quite a bit and have improved our team chemistry," said Wareham. "We're hoping to be a real part of the national conversation when the rankings are released."
