Tuesday evening proved to be a nice bounce-back night for the Roadrunner Men's Basketball team. Following a stinging loss to visiting Brookdale last weekend at home, the Runners were faced with another tough challenge when they hosted a talented Atlantic Cape squad.

Coach Rich Casey's team proved to be up to the challenge.

Josh Randall scored 21 points and Jerry Surrency added 20 to lift the Runners to a hard-fought 74-69 GSAC win over the Bucs. The Runners improved to 18-6 overall and 17-4 against a touch conference schedule.Atlantic Cape dropped to 15-8 overall. 

Guards Khayri Ransom and Eriq Campbell also contributed a key 12 points apiece while Randall controlled the defensive board with 10 rebounds.

The Runners held a 38-33 halftime advantage and hung on for the important triumph. 

Next up for Casey's squad will be a home game vs. Northampton on Thursday evening in a 7 pm tipoff.
