Sophomore Jason Petrin led the way with wins at No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles with James Keenan to lift the Roadrunners' Mens Tennis team to a 6-3 victory over host Ocean County College this past weekend.

The win improved the Runners' dual meet record to 2-0, which includes GSAC victories over Brookdale and Ocean County.

"We are starting to get into the swing of things, using what we drill in practice in a match setting," noted Petrin. "We have a filled schedule and we are confident heading into it against both our region opponents and our NCAA opponents."

The Runners followed this effort with a solid third place showing in the Stockton Osprey Invitational Sunday. Several members of the team earned win and got the chance to compete in some mixed doubles play as the team combined their efforts.
