Nationally Ranked Roadrunner Men's and Women's Track Teams Turn in Solid Outings at Osprey Open

The RCSJ Roadrunners were finally able to exchange their rain gear for sunglasses this past weekend at the Osprey Open hosted by Richard Stockton University.  The great weather helped propel the team to some outstanding performances that are keeping the teams in good standing in the NJCAA rankings.  The Roadrunners women are currently ranked #3 while the men are ranked #7 as we approach the midday point of the season.

On the women's side, the team had 17 seasonal best performances in events as well as 8 NJCAA Nationals qualifying performances from the following:

Kara Knorr in the javelin, discus, and shot put
Sophia Dunning in javelin and discus
Emma Harverson in high jump
Emily Murrow, Susana Serrano, Mackenzie Cochran, and Courtney O'Hara in the 4x400
Ally Campo, Susana Serrano, Mackenzie Cochran, and Courtney O'Hara in the 4x800

On the men's side, the team came home with 16 seasonal best performances as well as 3 NJCAA Nationals qualifying performances from the following:

Angel Garnett-Willis in javelin

The teams are looking forward to their next meet, and more good weather, the Delaware Invitational hosted by The University of Delaware.
