The men's and women's cross country teams opened up their 2024 campaign with one of the most challenging courses they will face this year. The teams traveled to the historic Belmont Plateau for the Philadelphia Cross Classic, which featured mostly NCAA Division II and III schools. The teams fared very well considering the competition and that this was the first collegiate competition for most of the young team. Veterans led the way in both races, with returning All-American Courtney O'Hara placing 14th in the women's race and returning All-Region runner CJ Gilmore placing 20th in the men's race.

Next up for both teams is the Osprey Open at Stockton University.
