
Sophomore catcher and multi-purpose star Macenzie Long can add one more accomplishment to her lengthy list of career achievements as a Roadrunner -- First Team All-American!
Macenzie was selected to the 2021 NJCAA DIII First Team as a Designated Player or Utility/Non-Pitcher in this week's announcement by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).
Macenzie completed her career by helping the Runners to a fourth place overall finish in the recent NJCAA Division III Softball Championship Tournament in Syracuse, NY. She finished the 2021 campaign with a sizzling .587 batting average, 7 home runs, 36 RBIs and 30 stolen bases in 33 games.
"Macenzie was the catalyst for our program during her Roadrunner career, and she played a huge role in our success," said Roadrunner softball Coach Steve DePasquale in a recent interview.
