Moore Leads Roadrunner Women's Soccer in Successful Home Weekend vs. FIT and Suffolk CCC

Striker Isabella Moore scored the Roadrunners' only goal, an unassisted tally in the first half, in a 1-1 tie vs. visiting Suffolk County College The Runners' record now stands at 1-2-1 following a successful home weekend in which they also defeated Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).

Against Suffolk CCC, Moore netted a first half goal for the lone RCSJ score of the day. The Sharks tallied in the second half to earn the tie.

In the win over FIT on Sept. 7, Moore netted a hat trick to lead the 3-0 triumph. She gave her team a 1-0 first half lead with an early goal before scoring two second-half scores to close out her day. Goalkeeper Lauren Graham registered the shutout in the nets.

Next up for Coach Stephen Hart's Roadrunner squad will be a home match vs. Middlesex College on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
