The Roadrunner Women's Soccer teams continued their offensive scoring surge this past weekend when they rolled past visiting Sussex County Community College, 8-0, on Sept. 14 for their second straight win.
Sarah Nasatka netted three goals for a hat trick and added an assist, while teammate Isabella Moore collected two goals and two assists to the effort.
The contest marked the second straight explosive scoring outburst by the Runners following a previous 11-3 win over Middlesex College.
The two wins improved the Runners' overall record to 3-2-1 and vaulted the team into this week's NJCAA Division III National Rankings for the first time this Fall!
"We have everyone healthy, and as you can see the team is improving every game," said Coach Stephen Hart. "We played some tough teams early this season and it's now starting to make a difference."
Nasatka, a former Williamstown High standout, as joined teammates Moore, Riley Cogan and others as perhaps the top offensive threat in Region 19 to date.
"We have a nice team and we work together really well," she said. "We're taking everything one game at a time and we're working hard to improve ourselves."
Next up for the Runners will be a 4:30 pm GSAC conference match vs. RCSJ Cumberland at Cumberland County Tech on Sept. 17th. Watch for results.
