SEASON PREVIEW: Roadrunner Women's Tennis Opens Season on Sept. 9 vs. Camden CC

The RCSJ Women's Tennis team, under the direction of third-year coach Kristi Twardziak, opens their Fall 2022 season on Friday, Sept. 9 with hopes of enjoying a successful campaign.

The Runners meet Camden County College on the road at Overbrook High School in a 3:00 pm start.

Led by First singles players Irene Tantaros (Williamstown), the Runners will look to be competitive in Region XIX action this Fall.

Season Preview


Coach: Kristi Twardziak, third season. Coach Twardziak is a former successful softball, baseball, basketball and tennis athlete on the college and high school levels, and is currently the head softball coach at Triton Regional High School.

Fall 2021 Season: The Roadrunners qualified for both the Region 19 and NJCAA Division III National Championship tournaments.

Season Opener: September 9, 3:00 pm, at Camden County College in a match to be played at Overbrook High School.

Key Returnee: Irene Tantaros (Williamstown)

Promising Newcomers: Alexandra Everson (Williamstown), Jahaira Flores (Lindenwold), Sydney Ivey (GCIT), Amanda Volk (Cumberland).

Coach Kristi Twardziak on Fall 2022 season: "We have some nice recruits on the roster this season, so we are hopeful to be very competitive," said Twardziak.
