The Roadrunner Volleyball team finished up their Spring 2021 season with a pair of wins over County College of Morris, 3-2, and Middlesex College, 3-0.

Against Morris, the Runners dropped the first set, 25-11, as well as set three by a 25-15 count. The club, behind the solid play of sophomores Katie Burrichter and Dominique Marcano along with freshman Summer Wroniuk, rallied to win sets two (25-16), four (35-23), and five (15-11).

Against Middlesex, the Runners rolled to the win straight sets by scores of 25-19, 25-20, and 25-16.

"We really came together as a team -- it was nice to have matches in the spring to help us get ready for the fall season," said Marcano, a Region XIX All-Star in Fall 2019. "We have a nice group of players here and we expect to do well in the fall."

Coach Rebecca Pierson's team finished the Spring campaign with an 8-2 overall record.
