Today we highlight freshman men’s basketball standout Tim Schultice, a former Timber Creek standout who has enjoyed a solid 2019-20 campaign under first-year head coach Will Logan. See his profile below.

Year: Freshman.

Height: 6-feet, 3 inches

Position:  Forward.

Hometown: Sicklerville, NJ.

High School: Timber Creek High School, Class of 2019.

Worth noting: Tim comes from a true basketball family. Sister Dakota Schultice is a senior at Timber Creek who has committed to play at Holy Family University next season. Mom and Dad also were former basketball players.

Statistics:  Tim has enjoyed solid production in his brief junior college career, averaging 11.5 points per game in 11 games. He has also pulled down 101 total rebounds, including 70 on the defensive boards and has registered 4 blocked shots and 14 assists. He has averaged a strong 9.2 rebounds per game.

Led Timber Creek High School to a 14-13 overall record, including two South Jersey Group 3 playoff wins, during his senior year. He averaged 6,0 points per game in 14 games. He played a total of three varsity basketball seasons under coach Richard Bolds.

Tim also played for the Chargers’ football team as a tight end, a South Jersey sectional playoff qualifier under coach Rob Hinson.

Major:  Exercise Science. Hopes to move on to a four-year school and continue his basketball career at either an NCAA Division II or III college.  Career goals include coaching and seeking employment in either physical therapy or as an athletic trainer.

Hobbies/Favorite Activities on Campus: Hangs around campus and plays a lot of basketball when he is not in class or working at Loews.

Favorite Pro Team: Enjoys watching the Philadelphia Eagles.

Favorite TV show/Movie – NCIS and Remember the Titans.

Tim Schultice on His Roadrunner Career: “Rebounds are a big part of my game. Coach Logan tells me all the time as long as I’m getting rebounds, I’ll be very productive.

“I’m also very loud – I talk all the time on the court and show a lot of energy. I don’t have one big strength but I try to do a lot of little things well in any given game.”

Coach Will Logan on Tim Schultice: "Tim has really been the motive for us all year – our hardest working guy,” said Logan. “He brings all the energy. He does all the tough things – takes charge, gets the rebounds, and defends. He’s the heart and soul of the team.”
