The Roadrunner cross country teams traveled to Long Island for their largest meet of the year so far, with 34 teams to face off against. Despite being rained on for the third week in a row, the teams fared well against their New York competition at the St. Joseph's Long Island Invitational. The top 50 in each race were award winners and RCSJ came home with 5 awards.
The Roadrunners cross country teams travelled to the foothills of the Poconos this past weekend to face off at the challenging course at DeSales University. Race day also presented the RCSJ team with their coldest, windiest, and wettest meet of the season so far; but the teams stepped up to the challenge and had some great performances.
This past weekend, the cross country teams travelled to Richard Stockton University for the osprey Open. The meet featured a redesigned course providing plenty of spectator friendly views of the Roadrunners in action on a perfect weather day. Coach Hughes stated, "A highlight of the meet was seeing some group work by the roadrunners, we were working together and pushing each other through the race, helping everyone get some great times."
The Roadrunner Men's and Women's Cross Country teams conquered the challenging hills and heat of historic Belmont Plateau this weekend at the Philly Metro Small College Championships. The heat and humidity were staggering, so the RCSJ squad used this meet as a scrimmage/training run to get ready for the more important races later in the season.

The RCSJ Roadrunners cross country teams headed to their largest invitational of the season on October 8th at DeSales University. The teams faced over 200 runners per race and 28 teams. The course was also the most challenging course the Roadrunners have faced this season, with our toughest hills yet. Both teams fared well and came home as the top JUCO teams in the competition.

They were also faced with the lingering rain and winds from hurricane Ian as well as some missing runners due to illness. The Roadrunner squads raced well in the conditions and on the twisting, turning, hilly course.
The RCSJ Roadrunners cross country teams headed to TCNJ this past weekend to challenge themselves against some bigger competition and longer courses. This was the first time for the Roadrunner squads racing the 6k and 8k distances this season. The teams fared well as they were adjusting to the distance and the fast-starting charge led by NCAA Div. 1 St. Joseph’s University who swept the top 10 places and more in both the races.

The Roadrunner cross country teams took to the trails of Richard Stockton University over the weekend for their season opening matchup. The teams used the local meet as a stepping stone, focusing on getting rid of pre-season nervousness and getting a feeling for running fast and competitively. The teams faced some big competition from Rowan, Stockton, and TCNJ but fared very well against the other NJCAA teams in attendance, with RCSJ coming out on top for the JUCO teams.
