Roadrunner Athletics is joining with NJCAA Region XIX to take a day to thank all of our sport officials and official assignors.

They don't make the headlines, their names are not in the box scores and they don't make the all-star teams, but perhaps the most important individuals in sports are the contest officials. These individuals are so important that, in fact, there would be no organized competitive sports at the without the men and women who officiate these contests every day across the country. 

Quote from Athletic Director Brian Rowan: "Our student-athletes are the first priority but there are a number of other people who have been impacted by this shutdown to athletics. We are thankful for the officials that we get throughout Region XIX and we know they are missing the action too. On behalf of our student-athletes, coaches and staff I can say we miss you, hope all of you are well, and can't wait to see you again!"
