
Scotty Young, Aaron Graeber, and Rocko Brzezniak combined for 7 home runs in a fiery offensive assault as the No. 3 ranked Roadrunners swept a doubleheader, 9-7, and 21-3, over visiting RCSJ Cumberland Sunday.
The wins improved the Runners' overall record to 29-4 and 13-0 in the GSAC.
In Game 1, Graeber cracked two home runs and collected 5 RBis while leadoff hitter Young belted a home run and knocked in 5 runs to lead a 9-7 win.
The Runners rallied from a 6-3 deficit with with a six-run fifth inning to seal the triumph.
In Game 2, Brzezniak slammed a pair of home runs and drove in 7 runs to lead an easy 21-3 victory. Sophomore lefty Devin Sweeney (3-0) earned the win with 6 strikeouts in 5 innings of work.
Next up will be a road game at Mercer Community College on April 19th in a 3:30 pm start.
