Season Preview: Men's Basketball Begins New Era Under Coach Rich Casey

A new era will begin tonight when the Roadrunner Men's Basketball team travels to Delaware Tech to kick off the 2022-23 junior college season. New head coach Rich Casey, who assumed the position from previous coach Will Logan, will begin his Roadrunner tenure with a talented but youthful roster this evening.

Casey previously served as head men's basketball coach at Valley Forge Military Academy and College where his team won the 2018 Roadrunner Classic. He also previously was the head coach at Goldy-Beacom College (NCAA DII), Neumann University (NCAA DIII), and Manor College (NJCAA).

"The Rowan College program has a great tradition within Region 19 and the Garden State Athletic Conference playing against some of the top junior college programs in the country," said Casey. "We have set a high standard here, and I look forward to keeping us at the highest level possible."

The Runners will return three talented sophomores in guard Khayri Ransom, guard Quantavious Rogers, and forward Ryan Skeie among others, and hope to be in the mix for a second straight Region 19 playoff berth this winter.
