Runners' Men's Golf Places Second at Flanders Valley; Women's Team Enjoys Solid Outing

The RCSJ Men's and Women's Golf team enjoyed a solid outing during Monday's competitiion at Flanders Valley Golf Club.

Notably yesterday, we had four women post scores as the only full women's team in Region XIX including season low scores for Skylar Amoroso (85), Nancy Davidson (103), and Crystal Johnson (98). Crystal broke 100 after first picking up a golf club on March 1... an extremely impressive accomplishment!

The Runners' men's team finished 2nd to County College of Morris but ahead of four other full teams in the field, despite playing without our new #1 ranked golfer Sam Burek. The Runners were paced by the fine play of Captain Freddie Ramos, Jack Wheaton, and Logan Perrone. Ramos' 82 placed him just behind Trevor Pedrazzi's 81 in the individual scoring.

The Roadrunners will be at Running Deer again Wednesday for another match vs. the Rowan University club team hosted by RCSJ Cumberland.
