FRESHMAN/SOPHOMORE: Sophomore

ACADEMIC MAJOR: Communications

HIGH SCHOOL: Pitman High School

HOMETOWN: Pitman, NJ

Why did you decide to attend RCSJ-Gloucester?

I chose RCSJ because I knew they had great programs and made it way more affordable to get an education. Not only that but knowing that I could continue my athletic career was even more enticing especially since the athletics are just as great as the academics.

What has been your favorite part about being a student-athlete in our program?

My favorite part about being a student athlete would have to be the amazing friendships I've made with all of the guys I've wrestled and played tennis with. Both teams were so close after only knowing each other for less than a year and it's really cool that we're from all over south jersey.

How are you able to keep up with the virtual learning requirements during the COVID-19 pandemic?

I'm staying on top of my classes by not sleeping too late, setting out a period of time in the mornings to do some work, take a break and get some exercise, and then get some more work done to break my day up.

Who has had the biggest influence on you at our program during your career?

The person who had the biggest impact on me at RCSJ would have to be Coach Antonelli. He really knew how to push us in the wrestling room and always knew how to keep things fresh throughout the season. It's incredible what he's done and what he'll continue to do for the Wrestling Program because he cares so deeply for each and every one of his wrestlers.

What is your plan for next year?

Next year I plan to take 1 more year at RCSJ and get my associates degree. I'm hoping to play tennis next spring again to make up for the loss of this season.
