Noah Cziryak, Kaitlyn Holland Lead Way for Roadrunners in Dukes Invitational

The RCSJ-Gloucester cross country teams kicked off their 2019 campaign at our sister campus for the Dukes Invitational this weekend. The teams were graced with perfect weather and were able to turn in some good performances for the early season shake-out.

For the women, Kaitlyn Holland (Audubon) led the way with a medal winning 19th place finish. She covered the sandy twisting course in 28:25. Following close behind was Amanda Aydelotte (Collingswood) placing 24th in 30:20.

For the men, Noah Cziryak (Triton) took the race out right from the gun, was in control with the lead pack and finished strong for 2nd place in 17:06. Ben Kellum (Clayton) and Steve Hubbard (Schalick) placed 39th and 47th in 20:34 and 21:09 respectively to round out the Roadrunner finishes. The teams were both short-handed in their debut, but will be up to full strength soon. Next up for the Roadrunners will be the Osprey Open hosted by Stockton University.
