RCGC Fall Softball begins this weekend when the Roadrunners meet visiting Mercer County Community College in a doubleheaderr starting at 11 am followed by Game 2 at 1:00 p.m.
Six of the 11 starters from last spring's roster, including pitchers Jaclyn Lesher and Gia Cerminaro, will compete as well as a host of freshman players.
"The ladies have been practicing nearly the entire month and they are anxious to go up against some live competition," said RCGC head coach Steve DePasquale. "We're lookinbg forward to taking the field against Mercer."
The Roadrunners' schedule includes six opponents and will continue until Saturday, October 20. Opponents include:
Sept. 15 -- Mercer CCC (home)
Sept. 22 -- Del Tech Owens (home)
Sept. 29 -- Bloomfield (home)
Oct. 6 -- at Wilmington University
Oct. 13 -- Rutgers Camden and Suffolk CC (home)
Oct. 20 -- 25th Year Almni Game (home)
