The Roadrunner Softball team finished the 2023 season with a 4-0 win over Brookdale CC in NJCAA Division III World Series Friday in Syracuse, NY.
The Runners placed fifth overall in the tournament!
Emily MacGibeny, Dana Medlar and Paige Fox each knocked in runs to spark the offense.
Winning pitcher Gemma Galloway hurled four innings, striking out 5 while sophomore Janiece Robles earned the save with three innings of work, allowing just one hit.
The Roadrunners finished the 2023 World Series with a 2-2 record and fifth place finish in tourney competition. The Runners dropped an opening round game to Herkimer, then defeated Minnesota North Itasca before losing to Joliet and beating Brookdale.
Overall, Coach Steve DePasquale's team completed the 2023 season with a solid 39-15 overall record.
