Height: 5-feet, 6 inches

Weight Class:  125 pounds.

Hometown: Sicklerville, NJ.

Parents: Laura and Vince DiGiacomo

High School: Timber Creek High School, Class of 2019.

Worth noting: Nick bounced back from an early-season MCL tear suffered in the Centenary University Cyclone Open to continue his path as one of the Northeast's top wrestlers in his weight class. He endured a month of rugged physical therapy to return one month later to compete in the NWCA National Duals in Louisville, KY.

Statistics: Individual record at 125 pounds has improved to 15-0 on the mat, despite missing a portion of the Cyclone Open (Centenary University) and Nassau Open. Early in the season he posted a 3-0 record in the Green Terrier Duals against NCAA Division III competition.

Helped the Roadrunners to two victories and a solid fifth place showing in the NWCA National Duals in Louisville, KY on January 10-11. He registered three wins, including a technical fall and pin, as the Runners won two of their three team matches in Louisville.

All told, he has been a major reason why the Runners hold a 10-4 overall team record against NCAA Division III and top NJCAA programs this winter.

At Timber Creek High School, Nick wrestled all four seasons at the varsity level both at 120 and 126 pounds. As a junior he posted a 24-5 overall record while he advanced to the Region 8 120-pound finals as a senior in 2019. He was a state tournament qualifier throughout his scholastic career.

Major:  Currently a Health Science major who hopes to complete his degree in a four-year program and ultimately work as a Physical Therapist.

Hobbies/Favorite Activities: Fishing and playing video games. Enjoys Rap music.

Favorite Athlete:  His favorite wrestler is Cornell University's Yianni Diakomihalis, a freestyle wrestler who has won two NCAA Division 1 titles while at Cornell.

Nick DiGiacomo on his Roadrunner Career: "I did not expect to be undefeated at all. It's been a challenging year, especially with the injury. In the National Duals I was definitely out of shape during my first match in the tournament because I had only been back about a week. The physical therapy helped out a lot and I got through my matches. Now I hope to finish the season strong."

Coach Dan Antonelli on Nick DiGiacomo: Coach Antonelli described DiGiacomo as "on a mission" and his mission seems to be racking up points. "Nick is rock solid – he works hard and he's ready every time he steps on the mat," said Antonelli. "He has gone well above any and all expectations, and has been a great role model for everyone."
