Congratulations to Roadrunner Wrestling on capturing the Garden State Athletic Conference Championship today in the RAC!
A total team effort propelled the Runners to wins over Camden CC in the semifinal and Middlesex CC in the championship.
In fitting fashion, returning All-American Jaden Roberts clinched the title with a pin at 184lbs.
Shamar Baines started the day strong for the Runners earning a win by fall in his 125lb bout vs Camden CC. Nick DiGiacomo followed with a pin and Justin Dougherty, Isaiah Ezekial-Cortez, Nick Carrero, and Tion Cherry also scored important wins to help earn the championship.
Next up the Roadrunners will prepare for the NJCAA District Championship in two weeks at Lackawanna College in Scranton, PA.

Roadrunner Athletics is proud to once again host the Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) Wrestling Championships, kicking off Sunday, Feb. 6, at 10 am at The Roadrunner Athletic Center.
The Runners' top two performers will once again be sophomores Nick DiGiacomo (133 pounds) and Jaden Roberts (184pounds), while teammates Shamar Baines (125 pounds), Dyland Towne (141), and Andrew Knorr (149).
Matches kick off at 10:00 am. See schedule below.
