Women's Soccer Heads to Maryland for Matches Against Montgomery and Howard

Roadrunner Women's Soccer (0-1) will travel to Maryland this weekend looking for some strong competition and team bonding. The team will face Montgomery College on Saturday at noon then take on Howard College Sunday also at noon. The Roadrunners start the season ranked #4 nationally but dropped their opening season game 1-0 to Harcum College (PA) in double overtime.

Newcomers Dehlia Fynes and Michelle Salamoni impressed in the season opener defensively but the Roadrunners were not able to press the attack against Harcum. The team was without starter Josie O'Donnell in the season opener but expect her to be able to contribute starting this weekend in Maryland. O'Donnell may be able to make an impact on the offensive side and help free up returning NJCAA Region XIX Player of the Year Megan Lord.
