NJCAAForward - ROADRUNNER ATHLETICS

Athletics across the country have come to a grinding halt, but Roadrunner student-athletes plan to continue moving forward together. Over the course of the semester, we will highlight a number of student-athletes with how they are managing and continuing to reach for their goals.

This week we are featuring two-sport athlete Elexus Hamiliton-Holland who also works part-time in our Roadrunner Fitness Center and was a leader on our Roadrunner Dance Team that performed during our home basketball games.

POSITION(S): Defensive Specialist, Heptathalon

FRESHMAN/SPOHOMORE: Freshman

ACADEMIC MAJOR: Engineering

HIGH SCHOOL: Paul VI High School

What made you choose to come to RCSJ?

The school has an excellent athletics program and it was the easier way to get into Rowan University as a transfer.

What has been your favorite part about being a student-athlete in our program?

I love the enironment and the pride that comes with being a student-athlete.

What are some things you are doing to stay on top of your classes?

I have stayed organized by writing all my assignments and work schedule on a white board in my planner and color coded it to make it less stressful. (photo)

What is the biggest thing you miss with the Fitness Center now closed?

I miss seeing the faculty come in daily and seeing the sports team come in ready to demolish their workouts.

What is your plan for next year?

I will be returning to RCSJ in the fall and bringing out the Dance Team once again for another killer season!
