#NJCAAForward Initiative: Spotlight on Roadrunners Women's Track & Field / Cross Country Freshman Amanda Aydelotte

As part of the #NJCAAForward initiative, Roadrunner Athletics is proud to highlight many of our top student athletes. In this post, we highlight women's track and field and cross country runner Amanda Aydelotte. Although the spring track season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Aydelotte contributed to the success the women's cross country team had in this past fall season! In this post, Amanda discusses how she is keeping up with her school work and what her plans are after RCSJ!

What made you choose to come to RCSJ?

- It is a really nice campus that allowd me to pursue my major while also getting involved in athletics.

What has been your favorite part about beinga. student-athlete in our program?

- My favorite parts about being a student-athlete is getting to run at a competitive level and making many new friends.

What are some things you are doing to stay on top of your classes?

- Even though online classes are a struggle, I continue to complete my classes at the regularly shceduletime so I can stay on top of my work.

Who has had the biggest influence on you during your athletic career at RCSJ-Gloucester?

My teammates are my biggest influence, they're always getting me to push to my limits and influencing me to try new things.

What is your plan for next year?

My plan for next year is to finish up my last year at RCSJ and continue to stay involved in athletics.
