The Roadrunner women's volleyball continued their winning ways Tuesday night when they picked up a 3-1 triumph on the road at Middlesex County College for their third straight victory and fifth in their last six matches.

Coach Rebecca Pierson's team improved to 6-5 overall and 4-1 in the conference. The Blue Colts dropped to 2-4 overall.

Freshman Lina Russo contributed 14 1/2 points while freshman Macenzie Long and sophomore Taylor Caldas collected 11 points apiece. Freshman Domonique Marcano registered 24 assists.

The Runners won sets 1 and 2 by scores of 25-16 and 25-10, but dropped the third match 25-23. They clinched the win with a 25-12 triumph in the fourth match.

Next up for the Runners will be a home match against Region XIX and GSAC rival Bergen County on Saturday at 12 noon.
