Roadrunners head to North Carolina to start off the 2019 Season

Roadrunners head to North Carolina to start off the 2019 Season

Due to bad weather, the Roadrunners had to postpone two doubleheaders in late February against Cecil Community College and Del Tech Owens. Starting off the month of March, the Runners will be playing five games as they head down to North Carolina. They start off their trip by playing the Louisburg College Hurricanes at 3pm on March 1st and then a double header on March 2nd starting at 1pm.

Following that, on March 3rd they'll play a double header against the Thomas Nelson CC Gators starting at 12pm.

The Roadrunners had an impressive 2018 spring season with a record of 50-9 while finishing in 3rd place in the NJCAA Division III National Championship Tournament and remaining a top contender in the NJCAA Division III rankings. As always, Coach Rob Valli and his team once again expect a strong turnout this season which would get them back to the NJCAA Division III National Championship Tournament. The Runners will look towards top returnees such as C/OF Alex Gattinelli, RHP Mike Biasiello, RHP Nick Evangelista, 1B Anthony Aneglino, OF/RHP Ryan Murphy and the talented freshman to get the ball rolling for the 2019 season.
