Roadrunner Baseball sweeps Ocean County College in a doubleheader Saturday at home:

Game 1 -- Runners 3, Vikings 0
Game 2 -- Runners 7, Vikings 3

Game 1 winning pitcher Tim Hartman scattered 3 hits and struck out 10. RCSJ improved to 25-4 overall with the sweep.

In Game 1, Max D'Alessandro slammed a two-run double and Edwin Hernandez added an RBI to lead the way offensively,

In Game 2, Gavin Degnan collected three RBIs and Caden Dulin added two RBI to lead the Runners' offensive assault as the jumped out to a 7-2 lead after six innings.

Right hander Danny Kerr hurled six strong innings to pick up the Game 2 win.

Next up for the Runners will be a Sunday game at Ocean County to complete the three-game series with the Vikings.
