MATCH DAY: Niemiec Helps Roadrunner Men's Soccer Beat Montgomery CC in Regular Season Finale

Sophomore Joe Niemiec collected a goal and two assists to cap off a fine individual regular season and lift the Roadrunner men's soccer team to a 4-1 victory over visiting Montgomery County Community College Tuesday afternoon.

The Runners honored their sophomore players, who played a key role in leading the team to one of the best regular seasons in school history.

Niemiec assisted John Stickon on the opening goal 7:00 minutes into first half play before he booted in a penalty kick to make it 2-0 just one minute later. He also assisted on a goal by sophomore Gemel Tutu midway through the first half to help the Runners to a commanding 4-0 lead at that point.

Niemiec ended the regular season with four goals and three assists.

Freshmen Connor Rink and James Bartolotto split goalkeeper duties for the win.

RCSJ Gloucester improved to 11-5-2 overall with the win to conclude a solid regular season. Coach George Hobbins' team finished with a five-game win streak heading into the upcoming Region XIX playoffs.
