Roadrunner Athletics is pleased to announce our All-Decade Teams throughout our sports programs for 2010-2019. Today we feature the Men's Soccer All-Decade Teams (First and Second).

See below for observations from Coach George Hobbins and two legendary members of the All-Decade Teams -- Player of the Decade Brian Palangi and Goalkeeper Andrew McNellis, both assistant coaches currently in the program. 

Coach George Hobbins on the 2010-2019 All-Decade Teams

"To get started, we pulled out some old rosters and All-Region lists ... and yes, we're really excited about this group of players representing Roadrunner men's soccer . Some of the names on this list ... they're legends. Those guys have left their footprints here at the college."

Brian Palangi on Team of the Decade and the Team's Great Defense

"It's important because we always had always a good bond and it keeps the team level. If anything ever went wrong, we were always there for support. No one would ever bring us down too much. When you get in rough situations late in the game, we were always there to be relied on. That (mentality and toughness) won us a lot more games because we were close knit."

Andrew McNellis on All-Decade Team Members and Their Legacies

"Basically it was just work ethic (that made the players successful). A lot of them (the players) came from strong South Jersey programs ... they realized they needed to step up to play at the college level, and they certainly did."
