Connor Buechele, Christian Paskalides and Michael Rizzo each scored goals as the Runners' men's soccer team blanked visiting Northampton Community College, 3-0 Saturday in a Region XIX match.

The triumph proved to be a solid bounce-back win following a loss to No. 9 nationally ranked Ocean County College earlier in the week.  RCSJ-Gloucester outshot the visitors by a 15-3 count while turning in a solid overall defensive effort. 

Sophomore goalkeeper Gunner Hoffman earned the save in the nets, his fourth of the Fall 2021 season, while lowering his goals-against average to 0.71 per match.

The No. 10 Runners improved to 5-2 overall. Next up for Coach George Hobbins' team will be RCSJ Cumberland in the Rowan College Derby on Tuesday, Sept. 28, in a 3:30 pm start.
